Welcome to yiuphotography.com! Thank you for stopping by, I'm Hoyu Yiu, the creator of this weblog. Based in New York City, I'm a full-time graphic designer, and part-time photographer. I thoroughly enjoy the artistic freedom of the latter.

Primarily, I use this weblog for displaying and sharing (aka. bragging and showing off) my photographs, showcasing design projects, and sharing random bits of knowledge. Urbanchimpapparel.com Online (again)

UrbanChimpApparel.com is online. It is an apparel website hosted by Cafepress.com. This website features my latest graphic illustration and design printed on some of the trendiest fashion wear for men, women and kids. This website was started and completed little bit more than a half years ago. Although it isn’t a new site, new illustrations are added periodically to keep my design fresh.

This photo (which could’ve been one of the very last photos of me) was taken right before I jumped into the open ocean, with 25 lb of weight on my back, and no swimming skills whatsoever. In addition, our dive instructor, quickly accessed that I might not sink fast enough and proceed to strap on 20 more pounds around my waist. Let’s not get confused here- it ain’t about “no fear”, I’m just a guy with no common sense. Death isn’t a consideration when comes to activities that I love to do, like diving. Overall, it was a fun getaway. Check out the photo folder entitled “Florida…” for more highlights of our trip which also included Patrick, Vicki, and Annie.
