I know this post is long over due. I was in the Bahamas with my buddies and their father early this month. But hadn’t had the time to process or post up any picture until now. People in the photographs are my friend Ken Ho, Johnny Ho, and their father, Papa Ho, and me. And maybe a fish call wanda…
I didn’t really spend much time in processing these photos as most of them were nicely exposed already.
I hope you enjoy these photos.
All photographs were shot in Raw Format with my Canon 50D.
I used either a 16mm – 35mm f/2.8 Lens or the 100mm f/2.0 Lens, ISO200 to 400.
Post processed with Aperture and Photoshop CS4.
Here is Ken Ho. I bet this is what Bruce Lee with have look like if he was still alive.

Here is Ken Ho with Papa Ho.
And here is Johnny Ho with Papa Ho.

And here is a group family photo right by down town where all the cruise ships are dock.

Señor Frogs… They are everywhere. But they do throw the best parties. Tequila shots here I come.

Some of the local tourist scene. Next time I go, I’ll rent myself one of these scooter.

The entire island is practically surrounded by beautiful beaches with crystal clear water.

You know how you watch all those ClubMet commercial on TV with happy kids and family running around the beach all day just having fun.
To my surprise, it actually is like that.
Of course, I have to at least have 1 photo of myself to show that I was there. (Photograph by Johnny Ho)

Ken trying out his new snorkeling gear. Doesn’t this remind you of the scene in the first
James Bond Movie with Daniel Craig, when he was coming out from the beach?

A shot of my feet, the kid and the sail boat.
Here’s me again. Trying to look like a bad ass with a bad haircut.
Don’t ask, I don’t know what Johnny is doing.
Here’s the view from my hotel room in the morning. Doesn’t it look like there’s a giant sea snake in the pool?
Here’s the view from my hotel room right around sunset.
Johnny Rocket. Had myself a regular burger and a milk shake. Bill came out to be 24 dollar. WTH…

Here’s where all the Corporate CEO spend their annual bonus money while they fire half their staff and file financial losses to the IRS.

Now entering the Casino area of our resort. I have to walk by this place every time I enter and leave the hotel premise. No way around it.
After holding out from gambling, my buddies finally gave in on our last night stay and decided to try their luck out.
Also, while looking at the menu of this Nobu japanese cuisine, the cheapest item in their menu is the seaweed salad,
which was 18 dollar. That’s 18 dollar for seaweed… seaweed.
Sculpture of the sun made out of blown glass.

Sculpture of the moon also made out of blown glass.
Some half ox and half seahorse decor by the grand hall of the Atlantis Resort.
NOW… The main attraction. entering the sunken city of Atlantis. Supposedly, they have one of the largest aquarium in the world.
With more than 50,000 marine animals from over 200 species. What does all this mean? Photography time.
Just want to let you know, I have no clue what most of these fish are. Unlike going to a real aquarium, they don’t list anything out.
As soon as I approach this school of fish, they all turned around at the same time and was swimming away.
What are they looking for?

These I know what they are. They are Groupers. And they are HUGE. At least 5 feet long each.
Jelly Fish. I actually do want one as a pet. And that is before I saw the movie Seven Pounds.
Ha, the Cownose Stingrays. They really looks like the flying saucers of the sea. Gliding across the tank with such grace.

The Tiger Shark. Really surprise this little predator is among the other less dangerous fish around.
Here are some of the smaller fish in the tank.
I really like this shot. I feel like I was right under this thing while it casing an eclipse on me.

And last, some creepy looking eel. These are the ones that can discharge electricity. But I’ve never seen it done before.
