Judy is one of my recently-reunited friends from my childhood. It is amazing how the years have passed and in spite of being disconnected for a long time, we still were able to pick up where we had left off. Without a doubt, it was really great to to see how far we’ve come since those good old days back in the 5th grade at P.S 153. Thinking back, it has been a long time ago (over twenty years) and at the same time, the memories are still quite vivid. It was great to retell each other all those stories again and laugh about them. I think Kurt got a kick out of hearing all about Judy’s childhood adventures as well.
Hanging with Judy and meeting Kurt— I had such great time visiting with them in Tampa though I was unable to attend her wedding. However, I did not miss Judy and Kurt’s wedding rehearsal. (Sorry, Judy, I know I’ll never hear the end of it…) Despite that, I still managed to take some really nice wedding-esque photos and also of the behind-the-scene events leading up to the wedding. Congratulations, Judy and Kurt!
All photographs were shot in Raw Format with my Canon Rebel.
I used either a 16mm – 35mm f/2.8 Lens or the 50mm f/1.4 Lens, 400 ISO.
Post processed with Aperture and Photoshop CS3.

Judy Chin— looking exactly like she did back in high school. Ageless!

Judy’s husband, Kurt George Williams.

The wedding bands, awaiting exchange.

A portrait of the couple in their lovely home.

A few mementos.

The dream like quality of these photos conjure up poignant memories of a distant past.

These were taken during the preparation of the rehearsal.
Judy’s mom. Ageless beauty, like mother like daughter.

Judy looking glamorous for rehearsal night.

Her beautiful black heels… I mean, purple.

Kurt was ready to go!
A quick photo of the couple.

Lets not forget the inlaws! On the left are the parents of the bride. On the right are the groom’s.

As Judy looked so lovely, I asked her to pose for a few shots.

The stand-in bouquets and a bridesmaid… ahh…I think she’s one of the bridesmaids.

The wedding chapel where they will soon exchange vows.

Their minister, who has a great sense-of-humor.

The rehearsal begins.

Photos of the groomsmen.

Do you?

I do…

You may kiss the bride.

Congratulations, Judy and Kurt! Hope we’ll meet again sometime soon.
